The cocoa powder gives it a rich, almost brownie-like depth that I didn't expect from a protein bar. I've been grabbing one after lunch when the sugar craving hits, and the vanilla note really rounds out the chocolate without it tasting artificial.
The almond butter base is so smooth it practically melts, and the cocoa powder gives it a deep, rich hit that doesn't taste artificial. I grabbed one for an afternoon slump and ended up finishing it way too fast, it's dangerously easy to eat.
The vanilla comes through just enough to round out the rich cocoa without being sweet, and the texture is smooth and creamy with a nice almond crunch. I've been grabbing one as my afternoon slump fix and it actually keeps me full until dinner.
