The vanilla really comes through on the first bite, then the almond butter smooths it all out. I keep one in my bag for the 3pm slump and it actually holds me over until dinner.
The cocoa powder gives it a rich, almost brownie-like depth that I didn't expect from a protein bar. I've been grabbing one after lunch when the sugar craving hits, and the vanilla note really rounds out the chocolate without it tasting artificial.
The almond butter base is so smooth it practically melts, and the cocoa powder gives it a deep, rich hit that doesn't taste artificial. I grabbed one for an afternoon slump and ended up finishing it way too fast, it's dangerously easy to eat.
