I wasn't expecting the caramel to actually taste like caramel instead of fake sweetener, but it really does. The cashew and peanut butter base keeps it from being too sugary, and 12 grams of protein in something that eats like a candy bar is a win.
The sea salt on top is what gets me—it balances the sweet caramel just right, and the cashew-peanut butter base keeps it from tasting chalky like some bars. I've already eaten three this week, and the 12 grams of protein actually holds me over till lunch.
I was skeptical about another protein bar, but the sea salt on top really balances the sweetness of the caramel and nut butter. The 12 grams of whole food protein keeps me full for hours, and the texture is dense but not dry.
