The mint here is subtle, not toothpaste-strong, and it plays nicely against the organic honey and peanut butter base. I keep one in my bag for the 3pm slump and it actually holds me until dinner.
I grabbed one as a post-run snack and the peanut butter-honey base keeps it from feeling too sweet, with the mint cutting through just enough. The organic peanut butter gives it that freshly-ground taste that reminds me of the stuff from the health food store.
The texture is spot-on—dense and satisfying without being too heavy, and the peanut butter really anchors the flavor. I grabbed one for an afternoon snack and it kept me full until dinner, which never happens with candy bars.
